Terri:  Hi, I’m Terri Suresh. Welcome back to the Wellness Curve. I’m here with The Relationship  Coach and menglish expert, Andrea Jones. We were talking a little bit about the workplace and how women can’t understand and learn this culture difference, this menglish in the workplace to create harmony in the workplace. Let’s get a little bit back into that topic and just wrap that up a little bit. I finished a thought when you were speaking because sometimes I think a lot of women can take what we’re saying as we’re going backwards to the 50s in the States where we were just waiting on men hand and foot. That’s not what you’re teaching at all. Let’s just make sure that’s all very, very clear.

Andrea:  The States is a country which is wonderful when it comes to equal opportunity. We have equal rights and we should have equal rights. I’m not taking anything away from that that women can vote and have those positions, not at all. However, we’re not the same. We have equal rights but we’re not the same. If you forget about those differences we have, that’s when the problem starts.

Terri:  Hi, welcome back. I’m Terri Suresh. This is the Wellness Curve and I’m here with The Relationship Coach and menglish expert, Andrea Jones. We were just starting to talk about the differences between communication and common examples of misunderstandings between men and women. I know you and your husband speak together and he speaks to the men on how to communicate well with women, but as women, how can we maybe avoid some of those common mistakes and miscommunications?

Andrea:  An example is we women are taught early on not to be high maintenance. We say, “Don’t be high maintenance,” which we translate into being okay with everything that’s going on. We do this now still up to today.

Terri:  Hi there, I’m Terri Suresh with the Wellness Curve. I am a nurse practitioner and CEO of Hormonal Health, Wellness and Skin Centers here in the DFW Metroplex. One of my biggest passions is sharing any kind of education with my audience whether it’s live, on television, in print, ways that we can be healthy. And that’s not just healthy physical health, that’s mental health, emotional health, spiritual health, and relationship health. Relationship health is key.

My guest today, that is her big genre is relationship health. Andrea Jones is The Relationship Coach. I’ve known Andrea for a couple of years now and she has been an amazing gift to my life and to my patients’ life. What we find is I balance hormones and I get people feeling healthy on one side, but they still have a lot of unhealthy communication styles with their partners whether that’s at home, their family, their business partners, their spouses, whatever that is. I brought Andrea here to share a little bit about herself and about what she does and how it can help you in your relationship health.

They serve the Texas area. I know she’s done a great deal of work in the Dallas and Fort Worth Area.

Kimberly, I just want to say thank you. Thanks for being on the show.

Kimberly:  Thanks for having me.

Patrick:  I’m really excited about this because you have a really unique story. You specialize in family law, but you do a lot of other business type law as well.

1.   TV is going to become much more interactive.  ie, “Optional endings for shows, choose the ending you want,

2.   Social Media integration… Facebook shows and the ability to ask questions of the guest on the show.  Is being done on some shows already, will grow in a big way.

3.    Youtube channels that will be an extension of the Network Channels already out there.

4.    People will continue to pull away from Advertisement intensive stations.  There are some channels on TV now that have 12-15 commercials at each commercial break.  People are looking for Real and Authentic people that can give them good information in an Edutaining Way.

Bonus… SEO of your video will become a must for you to get the results you want from your video investment.

Patrick:  That’s excellent because I know that that’s such a huge value. Eight weeks and they’re learning the real keys to avoid — you said the big four and they are again?
Elizabeth:  I call them the big four: cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and dementia/Alzheimer’s.
Patrick:  Wow! That kills in America millions. That’s like 90% of the reasons people die.
Elizabeth:  Right, exactly. People don’t tend to die from diabetes, but it’s a lifestyle changer. It’s a huge lifestyle changer. Anyone who’s ever lived with a family member who has any of these diseases recognizes that it really diminishes your life.
Patrick:  Yeah. I’ve heard that from a number of people that when that happens, when they’re diagnosed, it’s a life-altering experience. I know that some people have found ways that using health and nutrition can actually begin to maybe even curb some of that. Correct? Would you agree?
Elizabeth:  Absolutely. You can do a tremendous amount with nutrition to control blood sugar and that is a big key to preventing a many of these diseases.
Patrick:  That is awesome.

Patrick:  Welcome back to the Business Spotlight. Patrick Dougher here. My guest today, Elizabeth Naylor of www.EbenezerWellness.com.
Elizabeth, I want to get into who you’re trying to reach. Who are you trying to reach?
Elizabeth:  My ideal client is someone who is really interested in thinking about their health differently. They’re very interested in feeling empowered and confident about their health and moving really from a place of fear to a place of empowerment. People who want to live their lives fully, not really looking for the next disease diagnosis, but really looking for health and not even for that to even be an issue in their lives.
The bulk of my clients are between 35 and 55 when they start with me, although I work with people of all ages who are ready to have a change in their life.
Patrick:  They’re ready to implement.
Elizabeth:  Right.
